Before stepping into the creative realm, she worked as a global project manager for a multinational corporation. During a business trip to India, she first encountered Adyar, the international headquarters of the Theosophical Society—a meeting that became a life-altering turning point  leading her to return many times and inspiring her forthcoming book, Call of Adyar, a lyrical and historical exploration of the estate and the many people whose fates converged there over the centuries.

With no prior experience in filmmaking, Terhi embraced ONE FIRE, following her heart, trusting her timing, and allowing the story to unfold.
